SpatiEdge conducted high-precision HT/LT power network route surveys for NTPC and CESU. The project involved accurate DGPS-based corridor mapping and alignment verification to optimize transmission routes, support infrastructure planning, and reduce implementation risks for power network expansion.
The HT/LT Power Network Route Survey project was executed by SpatiEdge Technologies Pvt. Ltd. to support NTPC and CESU in planning, designing, and implementing high-tension (HT) and low-tension (LT) power distribution networks. The project focused on delivering accurate, geo-referenced route alignments and corridor mapping to ensure efficient infrastructure development and minimize implementation risks.

Odisha State Transmission and Distribution Departments
Conduct precise route surveys for HT and LT power lines
Optimize transmission and distribution network alignments
Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and minimal land acquisition issues
Provide accurate spatial data for planning, design, and monitoring
DGPS-based field surveys to capture transmission and distribution corridor coordinates
Detailed mapping of poles, towers, substations, and right-of-way (ROW) alignments
Integration of survey data into GIS for spatial analysis and planning
Validation of existing route plans and identification of route optimization opportunities
Preparation of maps and technical reports for departmental approvals
SpatiEdge employed a survey-first methodology using DGPS/GNSS systems to capture high-accuracy coordinates for HT/LT network routes. Field data was integrated with GIS platforms to create layered maps representing routes, poles, towers, substations, and associated infrastructure. Alignment optimization and clearance analysis were performed to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
